You are most welcome to participate in an Public Lecture: The University’s Role in the Knowledge Economy on October 25 at 13–14.30.
Have you ever wondered how scientific discoveries make their way to the market as new products? Since the 1980s, American universities have deepened their collaboration with the industry, bringing academic discoveries directly to consumers. This technology transfer process has forged new and exciting relationships between universities and companies, resulting in the introduction of life-saving products that enhance the quality of life. The lecture will shed light on the challenges of transferring early-stage discoveries to the industry and provide an overview of the innovation environment in Tallinn.
And who better to delve into this topic than Mr. John DesRosier? Thanks to the Fulbright program and the support of the US Embassy, we are honored to host him at Tallinn University of Technology. DesRosier, with decades of experience in the field of technology transfer, offers a profound understanding of the bridge between science and industry.
