The Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Biochemical Societies held a joint conference FEBS3+ at Tallinn University on June 15-17th, 2022
Many researchers in the fields of molecular biology, biomedicine and (bio)chemistry belong to the national biochemical societies enabling vigorous interdisciplinary scientific discussions. The reproductive biology research group from TalTech was represented at the conference by the PI Agne Velthut-Meikas and PhD student Kristine Roos. Together they presented the results of their recent studies on scientific posters.
For the first time we presented the findings of the pan-European project FREIA where the associations between the levels of endocrine disruptive chemicals in the ovary and the sensitivity to ovarian stimulation preceding the in vitro fertilization procedure were investigated. To read more about the wider goals of FREIA, please visit the project webpage.
