Riga Technical University (RTU) invites to the international online conference "Role of Universities in Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region" on 15th October.

The conference will be attended by high-level experts from universities and private sector. The Vice President for Sustainability at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm Per Lundqvist will talk about strategies at KTH for research, education and co-creation in sustainability. The director of Energy Systems and Environment at Riga Technical University Dagnija Blumberga will talk about how climate neutrality becomes tasty in higher education. The Vice-Rector for Green Transformation at TalTech Helen Sooväli-Sepping will give an overview about TalTech´s steps toward climate smart university. 

The conference is a part of RTU's 159th anniversary events and aims to share good practice in the sustainable development of universities in the Baltic Sea Region. The online conference takes place on 15th October 14:00-17:00 (EEST). All TalTech´s students and employees are welcome to participate.
