Tallinn is the chosen venue for the Conference themed "Strengthening Democracy through Education." At this esteemed gathering, our project researcher, Dr. Charlie Moreno-Romero, representing Taltech's Ragnar Nurkse Institute of Governance and Innovation, will elucidate the SMOOTH research project.
Funded by the Horizon 2020 program under grant agreement No. 101004491, the SMOOTH project is a collaborative endeavor involving a consortium of esteemed universities and partners spanning across seven European countries. This innovative undertaking delves into the intricate dynamics of fostering communal educational practices within both formal and informal educational settings. Its primary objective is to combat prevailing disparities and foster an environment of inclusivity.
By analyzing the mechanisms and strategies employed in communal learning experiences, the project aims to redefine educational paradigms, ultimately contributing to the cultivation of a more equitable and participatory educational landscape across Europe. Through rigorous research and interdisciplinary collaboration, the SMOOTH project endeavors to unveil actionable insights that can pave the way for meaningful societal transformations in the realm of education.
