Tallinn University of Technology

In the EuroTeQ course catalogue, we are primarily looking for courses:

  • that are already part of the existing curriculum;
  • whose language of instruction is English (excluding language courses);
  • where the teaching takes place entirely online or EuroTeQ students can participate via online means while our students are in the classroom (hybrid), or where part of the instruction is online and part is on campus (blended)*; *This option can be offered if the instructor can organize face-to-face teaching in a way that allows the inclusion of EuroTeQ students (i.e., face-to-face teaching takes place over a short period, as this generally involves virtual mobility and physical student mobility over a longer period is not currently possible within EuroTeQ)."

The EuroTeQ course catalog is an inter-university list of courses offered by EuroTeQ universities, which are available either entirely online (online courses), in a hybrid format (hybrid), or as blended learning. To ensure the quality of the courses offered by TalTech in the EuroTeQ course catalog, we financially support the development of courses listed in the catalog and the enhancement of hybrid teaching capabilities.

To this end, we support the institution with up to €3000* per course for:

  • promoting international educational cooperation with top universities;
  • improving the hybrid teaching capabilities at the university;
  • deepening the teaching competencies of academic staff;
  • optionally partially compensating for the instructor's work.

A one-time grant is paid out if the following conditions are met:

  • the instructor submits an English-language hybrid or blended learning course to the EuroTeQ course catalog;
  • the submitted course is already part of the existing curriculum;
  • EuroTeQ university students are supported in the learning process, and in case of dropout, reasons are of interest;
  • at least 3 EuroTeQ students have enrolled in the course;
  • the program director has been informed that students from his or her curriculum may study together with EuroTeQ university students.

The payout to the institution takes place after the registration period for the courses ends.

*This is a one-time 'start-up' grant. A course that has received support once will not qualify for support in the following semester.

Courses can be submitted until April 20, 2024 (inclusive) HERE
