Tallinn University of Technology

After a two-year break, on September 20, the TalTech Relay Race took place as part of International Day of University Sports. This year, for the first time, Swedbank also supported the competition (which is now part of the Rector's Cup) and is the name sponsor starting from this year.

Despite the 14-degree weather and continuous heavy rain throughout the day and evening, a total of 43 teams with 213 runners eventually reached the starting corridor. Competition took place in four different categories: men, women, mixed, and TalTech. The TalTech category, as the name suggests, included teams where all members were from Tallinn University of Technology.

The winners in the men's, women's, and mixed teams once again were professional running teams (men - Nõmme JK, women - Madagaskar, mixed - Sparta X). The best TalTech team was TIIMLIIVIT, consisting of Martin Moistus (IT), Rasmus Käsper (School of Science), Otto Kase, Joonas Mattias Laur (School of Engineering), and Hendri Haugas (IT).
