Tallinn University of Technology

The Architecture Endowment of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, the Estonian Association of Architects, the Estonian Association of Interior Architects, and the Estonian Landscape Architects’ Union have awarded this year’s architectural prizes recognising the most outstanding achievements, works, and authors of architecture in Estonia. Among other achievements, the Association of Interior Architects recognised the interior architectural solution of TalTech’s Mäemaja (construction hill house) research and study building.

The judges’ panel of the annual award of the Association of Interior Architects included: interior architects Ville Lausmäe and Maarja Valk-Falk, architect Koit Ojaliiv, curator Karen Jagodin, and heritage conservationist Siim Raie.

A total of 184 candidates were put forward for the architectural awards, from which the judges selected 55 nominees and recognised 19 laureates, which included two student awards.
