This year, CADrina was dedicated to the 90th birthday of the Kadrina community centre, and this year’s task was to draw a spinning wheel.

The main frame of the spinning wheel was drawn in the preliminary round and the six best teams made it to the final competition at Kadrina Secondary School, where the spinning wheel and all its details had to be put into operation.

While the first ten years only the AutoCAD software has been used, this spring the competition was expanded and participants could test their skills using both AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

TalTech's teams achieved very good results in this year’s competition – they won second place under the guidance of Maarjus Kirs.

TalTech (mixed) (supervisor Maarjus Kirs) II place Kalev-Eduard Kalda Nikolai Maklakov Calin Petrea

TalTech (supervisor Aurika Nõmm) IV place Maria Pernits Roland Saks Gleb Shilov

TalTech Virumaa College (supervisor Veroonika Shirokova) VI place Ruslan Bezrukov Deniss Derdessov Ilya Vdovin

CADdrina is a series of competitions that started in 2010 to demonstrate the exciting side of engineering graphics and to introduce the focus and curriculum of the Kadrina Secondary School to future high school students.
