TalTech’s 2021 admissions campaign ‘Admission in AR’ by Tank Creative Agency made it to the final of the BalticBest 2022 international advertising competition for small countries in two categories.

These categories were outdoor /ambient advertising and innovative media & marketing /use of technology.

The competition received 187 projects from eight countries: Croatia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Mauritius, Jamaica, and Namibia.

On Wednesday, August 24, the projects were evaluated in a live broadcast, taking into account the originality and quality of the creative ideas. The jury liked the campaign’s approach, which was relevant and important to the target audience and also stood out well in the outdoor media environment.

Although the admissions campaign did not win any medals this time, it has received them in the past. In mid-May at the Golden Egg Awards – Estonia’s biggest and most prestigious advertising and creative works contest, the campaign won five awards in four categories:

  • design and craftsmanship / cross-environment experience – Golden Egg
  • marketing communication / digital advertising – Golden Egg
  • marketing communication / digital campaign – Bronze Egg
  • marketing communication / custom media solution – Silver Egg
  • marketing communication / custom media solution – Augmented Reality (AR) Special Egg
