TalTech’s Sports Achievement of the Year 2025 is the women’s volleyball championship title won in the spring. TalTech/Macta Beauty (now TalTech/Nordaid) defeated Rae Sports School 3–2 in the fourth match of the finals of the Estonian Women’s Volleyball Championship.

According to winning setter Karolina Kibbermann, the situation after the second set was difficult. “We didn’t believe we would come back, but this is true self-transcendence. Overall, our success in the series came from using extreme measures. That is, for three consecutive weeks we did exactly the same things to achieve as similar a result as possible. We should have taken this approach already at the beginning of the season,” Kibbermann said in sports news on ERR.
For the TalTech women’s volleyball team, the gold medal at the Estonian Championships was already the second award of the year, as they had earned a silver medal at the Estonian Cup after the Rae team. In the Baltic League, the team finished fourth. The TalTech women’s team secured the fourth Estonian championship title in the club’s history - the first was won in 2021, the second in 2023, and the third in 2024.
The Sports Achievement of the Year award was presented at a ceremony held in honor of Estonia’s Independence Day at TalTech on February 27.
