On November 2, Tallinn University of Technology signed a diversity charter at the Estonian Chamber of People with Disabilities.

By signing the Estonian Diversity Charter, the organisation – the company, NGO, or public body – voluntarily commits to promote diversity and equal opportunities among their employees, partners, as well as clients.
„It is very important for the university that our students and employees feel good and welcome, and our work towards this goal isa n everyday effort," says chancellor Tea Trahov, commenting on the decision to join the charter. "Diversity and inclusion are values that the university has embraced for decades, and joining the diversity agreement allows the university to openly express support for this topic."
The activities of the agreement network are coordinated by the Estonian Human Rights Center. The Estonian Diversity Charter is part of the European Diversity Platform, which brings together similar agreement networks in 26 European countries.
