Tallinn University of Technology

TalTech's unique virtual tour completed at the beginning of this year was recently updated: one of the most important developments was the addition of Kopli and Kuressaare buildings of the Estonian Maritime Academy of TalTech, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Also, new exiting locations and laboratories of the Innovation and Business Centre Mektory and other sites in the campus were added.

In addition, the design and user interface of the virtual tour were updated to provide visitors with a better and more convenient user experience.

Generally, virtual tours are simply 360-degree photos that allow viewers to look around in a room. TalTech's virtual tour differs from others by its virtual guide who introduces the university in a humorous way and directs the visitors with questions. TalTech's own students have lent their voice to the guide in Estonian and English.

The virtual tour provides the student candidates and others an opportunity to get a better sense of and insight into the opportunities provided at TalTech – the exceptional campus, modern learning environment, buildings, laboratories and infrastructure, the vibrant and diverse student life and the innovative projects undertaken at the university.

TalTech's virtual tour is for PC-s and mobile devices. The most innovative virtual tour in Estonia is available here: virtualtour.taltech.ee

The virtual tour was developed under the leadership of TalTech International Recruitment and Admissions Division. The project was funded through Archimedes Foundation's Dora Plus action "Marketing of study and employment opportunities in Estonia" financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
