Introduction to the microdegree
This microdegree aims to provide a comprehensive overview of ESG concepts, key governing documents, and the practical implementation of major reporting standards, showing how ESG reporting connects with everyday business operations. Participants gain a clear understanding of the relevance of ESG for stakeholders and its role in financial and investment activities. The programme also explores terminology, opportunities, risks, and future trends in financial innovation and sustainable finance, introducing a range of financial technology and sustainable finance solutions and applications.
The programme is designed for professionals already working in accounting and/or finance who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge, as well as for those aiming to develop their careers in ESG reporting, sustainable finance, or financial innovation and who possess basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
