Experiments carried out on different solid fuels (wood, peat, pellets, refuse-derived fuel, paper, agricultural wastes, barbecue charcoal, etc.) to determine its quality and characteristics: - Ash content - Determination of moisture - Determination of gross calorific value by calorimetric bomb method - Determination of volatile matter - Determination of sulfur bonding forms - Determination of mechanical durability of pellets - Particle size analysis by sieving - Determination of fixed carbon Laboratory in Department of Energy Technology is accredited and has competence in fuel analyses, thermal engineering and conducting air emission measurements.
