Service description

Thermogravimetric analysis is a technique in which the mass of a sample is measured over time as the temperature changes. Analysis is carried out with a differential scanning calorimetry instrument which enables to carry out two tests in parallel at the same conditions. This measurement provides information about phase transitions, absorption and desorption, purity of samples and thermokinetics in defined atmosphere. Additional information about sample composition and thermal behavior can be obtained by analyzing the gases that leave the material as it is heated, therefore mass-spectroscopy is connected with TGA/DSC instrument.
