When you arrive in Tallinn...

BY AIRPLANE

Tallinn Airport is located just 4 km from the city centre making the airport easily accessible by public transportation.

Public tram route no. 4 stop is located next to the terminal towards the city. On Mondays through Saturdays, the first tram arrives at the airport at 5.25 AM and at 5.45 on Sundays. The last tram from the airport to the city centre leaves at 0.45 AM, allowing passengers arriving on the last flights of the day to use public transport for reaching the city.

Airport bus stops are located at the city side of the passenger terminal next to the tram stop. You can take the bus no. 2 to the center.

The journey to the city centre takes approximately 15-20 minutes. However the tram or the bus won’t take you to TalTech, you need to switch to trolly No. 3 or bus No. 11. 

BY TRAIN

Train Station (Balti Jaam) is located in the close profimity of the old town and is accessible by public transport and taxis. The direct line to TalTech is trolly No. 4 (BALTI JAAM – KESKUSE), closest stop to TalTech is „EHITAJATE TEE“

BY BUS

Tallinn Bus Station is located in the city centre and you can continue your commute from here with public transport or taxi. There is a direct line to TalTech, bus No. 23 (BUSSIJAAM – KADAKA), closest stop to TalTech is „RAJA“

TAXI

Estimated cost from Tallinn Airport (or Bus Terminal) to TalTech is around 6-12 euros per taxi, depending on the company and traffic.  Base fare is usually 1.99-3.00 EUR + rate per km 0.40-0.90 EUR. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

You can use public transportation to get around in Tallinn.  The closest stops to TalTech are „EHITAJATE TEE“ or „KEEMIA” , “RAJA”, and "TEHNIKAÜLIKOOL".
