On the first week of February we invite everybody to lower the indoor tempreatures at least 1 degree and find warmth and comfort from cosy hoodie or warm sweater. On February 3–4 there is a Sweater Swap in TalTech main building lobby where you can bring your previous favorite sweaters and get yourself new ones!
February 6 is a Warm Sweater Day which is celebrated in universities, schools and kindergardens all over Europe. It started from Netherlands and the goal is simple: to reduce energy cunsuption in buildings - and that is the highest in the coldest times.
So, bring down the room temperatures and bring in warm sweaters, "hygge" hoodies and soft scarves. Dig out your colorful TalTech hoodies, knitted christmas gifts, granny-made-vests and scarves bought for souvenirs. If you don't have any, visit TalTech gift shop or second hand shops.
But this is not all! We'll arrange a sweater swap to give new life to your previous favs! If your closet includes forgotten treasures that you are tired of, bring them to main building lobby on February 3-4. If you don't have an old one but need a new one, come anyways - someone might have brought in your new favourite! No registration nor money needed.
