The event takes place on April 8 at 17:00 at TalTech Mektory (Raja 15), bringing together prospective students, programme managers, and industry representatives.

During the evening, you will get a practical overview of current career and salary trends, take part in a panel discussion on the real value of a Master’s degree, and explore different study options at the Master’s programmes fair.

Programme

  • 17:00–17:30 Career and salary trends presentation (in Estonian)
  • 17:30–18:15 Panel discussion: A Master’s degree as a benchmark – how is specialist value assessed? (in Estonian) The discussion is moderated by Kristjan Rebane, Vice Dean of Master’s Studies (ScreenX hall). Participants include: Karl Oder (CV.ee), Sirja Sulakatko (IT College), Taavi Viilukas (Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs), and Ksenia Käes (Trimble Solutions Corporation).
  • 18:15–19:45 Master’s programmes fair, snacks and DJ

Panel discussion topics include:

  • the value of a Master’s degree for specialists, managers, and organisations
  • the skills employers expect today and in the near future
  • when and how a Master’s degree becomes a real competitive advantage
