Estonian Centre of Excellence in ICT research unites Estonian top 16 research groups. Its goal is to consolidate Estonian ICT areas of research from hardware to software and to develop secure and reliable IT services and systems by:
- Excellent research by building synergies between Estonian research groups in IT
- Cooperation projects between research groups from different IT research fields
- Supporting next generation IT researchers by financing PhD students and postdoctoral students
- Consolidating IT research community and increasing public awareness of IT research
