Application procedure

Thanks to the generous support of the IEEE PELS TC1: Control and Modeling of Power Electronics eleven fee waivers totaling 8'000$ will be provided to paper authors from the following categories, in the order of priority:

  1. IEEE PELS students and Young Professionals from low- and medium-income countries as defined by IEEE (all three groups): https://open.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/2025-Geographical-GEO-Discount-1.2025.pdf.
  2. Authors from low- and medium-income countries not included in the previous group.
  3. IEEE PELS students and Young Professionals from other countries.

Applications are due by March 31!

How to apply:

  1. You MUST be an IEEE PELS member. You are considered an IEEE Young Professional if you have graduated from your first professional degree within the past 15 years.
  2. You MUST have a paper accepted at the conference as an author or co-author and present it at the conference.
  3. You MUST provide a short motivation letter outlining the value of your research and explaining why you are the best candidate for the fee waiver.
  4. You MUST send a short CV and your IEEE member number along with the motivation letter to icdcm2025@taltech.ee by March 31, with a CC to dmitri.vinnikov@taltech.ee.

The selection results will be announced on April 1.
