Which university did you graduate from?

I have graduated from the University of Helsinki and have pursued additional studies at institutions such as Aalto University throughout my career.

Why did you decide to do your Masters in TalTech School of Business and Governance in Estonia?

The study program was impressive, punctual, and focused on future-oriented, entrepreneurial topics, essential for mastering future challenges in a competitive world. Internationality was also a key factor in choosing to study MBA at TalTech School of Business and Governance.

How satisfied are you with your choice so far? Did you know anything about Estonia before you came here?

As a Finn, I knew about Estonia, but had never studied or worked here. So far, I'm satisfied with the supportive study environment and friendly, helpful classmates.

Which subjects or topics have you found most interesting so far? Did the curriculum meet your expectations or was there anything that surprised you?

All the subjects have been engaging, which is why I chose this program initially. For someone with a background in chemistry, Financial and Accounting Management has been particularly notable due to its relevance in my learning goals. The lecturer has approached the topic professionally and provided various tasks and challenges with a positive attitude.

What is the most interesting or unexpected thing you have learnt in Estonia? Have there been any particularly memorable or funny cultural differences?

I have always felt very warmly welcomed in Estonia, the people here are exceedingly helpful. I recall walking through the old town with my study colleagues, gaining many new insights into Estonian history.

What advice would you give to future international students considering studying at TalTech?

If you seek to study in a forward-thinking and international environment within a friendly and supportive atmosphere, TalTech School of Business and Governance (SBG) might be an excellent choice for you.

Are you considering staying in Estonia or moving elsewhere after you graduate?

I currently live in Finland, and the arrangement of having three in-person workdays per month is a convenient and practical option for working individuals.
