TalTech Campus Party 2023

The campus party is the best place to reunite with your fellow students

The campus party is the best time and place to organise your class reunion. The University helps with finding rooms and other organisational issues. After reminiscing about your university days, you can move together to the afterparty of the Campus Party, where you can find a cultural experience for every taste.

In addition, there is an alumni lounge located on Academicians Alley, where various activities and games take place during the day, where you can participate with friends and acquaintances.

Guides introduce the library, archive and museum

The door of the TalTech archive is rarely open – however, guests are welcome at the Campus Party. The friendly TalTech archivists have searched out the admission essays of today's outstanding alumni – what were the dreams of and thoughts, for example, 50 years ago? Register.

The guides help you to dive into the University Library that has been soon operating for 105 years. Register for tours.

In the pop-up library, however, you can meet the robot Temi, who helps you find the necessary shelf, check-out machine, printer, book sales counter, introduces the café's menu and even guesses your gender and age. In addition, you can register as a library reader and play the emoji game.

At the TalTech Museum's new exhibition "Heaps of happiness!?" you can learn about the nature of happiness, neurochemistry and the power of positive psychology through the discoveries of science. Information and registration is coming soon – check the program.

The Inventors' Song and Dance Festival offers a wide cultural experience

From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Inventors' Song and Dance Festival Hits through the Decades with INGA, Uku Suviste and Kristjan Karmo will be held in the TalTech  Academicians Alley.

Performers include all the choirs of the TalTech Cultural Centre, TalTech's united BigBand together with the chamber orchestra, and TalTech's dance ensemble Kuljus. The artistic director of the party is Bianca Rantala.

The biggest hits of Estonia and the world through the decades will be presented. The Inventors' Song and Dance Festival is free for everyone. More information is available on Facebook.

Sport and entertainment go hand in hand

Just for the day of the Campus Party, a disc golf course will be set up in TalTech Mustamäe campus, which starts near the Amphitheater and stretches along and inside the pine forest. Participation does not require preregistration, and if necessary, you can borrow discs from the lobby of the main building. Come and test your skills!

The Estonia World Championship of TalTech student organisations in pentathlon offers a fun spectacle. It starts at 1 p.m. in the Student House parking lot.

Crab a bite to eat at the food alley

Six food vendors and caravans offer meals from 6 p.m. on Academicians Alley until the end of the after-party. Come sharpen your taste buds and fill your stomach with tasty bites!

Check out TalTech's new season sports teams

After Ivo Linna's concert, it is suggested to step once again on Academicians Alley, because there is a rare opportunity to see TalTech's men's basketball, women's and men's volleyball, men's and women's table tennis and cheerleaders' teams on the starting season.

A star-studded afterparty

The grand finale of the Campus Party is the afterparty, where Ivo Linna & Supernova, Smilers, nublu and Caater will take the stage in the TalTech main hall. DJ Moistus also keeps the mood up. However, you can enjoy a silent disco in the Academicians Alley.

There is a paid entrance for the afterparty and has an age limit of 18+.

PS! Come to the party on foot, by bike or by public transport!
