The TalTech Development Fund, led by Elinor Toming, published its first yearbook. It contains information about the fund's future plans as well as stories about the university's supporters.
"The book is a sincere tribute to people and organizations who contribute to the development of engineering, natural sciences, ICT, as well as economic sciences through the fund," said Toming. Robert Kitt, Senior manager and Chairman of the Board of the Development Fund, Kaarel Loigu, Capital Mill manager, and Kristel Kruustük, an entrepreneur and TalTech alumnus are cited in the Yearbook. Multiple scholarship recipients, Kristjan Taimla, an engineering master's student (captain of the FS Team Tallinn team), Vladislav Fjodorov, an economics PhD student, and Aaron Aus, electrical energy and mechatronics bachelor's student tell their story.
The yearbook is also a recognition of the fact that the TalTech Development Fund has grown into the largest student support fund in Estonia. "The year 2024 has already brought several exciting ventures," Elinor Toming stated. "It is a pleasure to see that the culture of donation is gaining more and more momentum among Estonians. Therefore, it is worth keeping an eye on the Fund's website and also on the university's support portal toeta.taltech.ee“
