Tallinn University of Technology

We encourage all those who wish to combine face-to-face teaching with e-learning. Hybrid learning also allows participation for students who, for some critical reason cannot come to the classroom and work through the material presented in lectures and practical classes. Our video studio also has opportunities for recording lectures for flipped classroom and other active learning methods.

We have also created better conditions for carrying out project and problem-based learning and group work.

The possibilities for conducting hybrid learning have improved at the university, and these can be used to support face-to-face teaching, if necessary. Rooms that allow hybrid learning can be seen here.

A convenient group work process means that the classroom can be adapted to suit teamwork by forming discussion groups in the right sizes. In the group work rooms, the furniture can be easily rearranged according to the specifics of the teaching process, all classes have convenient hybrid learning options, screens are on both sides of the room, so that the students sitting with their backs to the teaching staff can also see the slides. Each group work room has a large smart board, and there are also  whiteboards on the walls for group work participants.
