Tallinn, Estonia – March 6, 2025 – Tallinn University of Technology’s Department of Law (TalTech Law School) and SuitsLegal, Estonia’s leading AI-powered legal assistance platform, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in legal research, technological development, and academia-industry engagement.

SuitsLegal is Estonia’s first AI-powered legal assistance platform, designed to make legal support more accessible and efficient for individuals and businesses. By leveraging advanced machine learning technologies, SuitsLegal provides real-time legal guidance across various areas of law, including contract disputes, family law, rent disputes, GDPR, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. The platform is built to assist legal professionals, small businesses, and individuals by delivering fast, cost-effective, and reliable legal insights.
TalTech will serve as a testing ground for AI-driven legal projects, support networking opportunities, and assist in research and funding initiatives. With this collaboration, TalTech Law School will also provide expertise in comparative legal analysis, data protection, intellectual property, and policy development.
SuitsLegal will provide real-world AI applications, participate in university events and allocate resources for joint research funding applications. This collaboration is set to provide students with hands-on experience in AI-enhanced legal solutions while advancing technological innovation in the legal sector.
The agreement will span an initial period of two years, with the potential for renewal. Both parties are committed to fostering innovation, enhancing the accessibility of legal services, and strengthening the connection between academia and technology.
