TalTech sTARTUp Day, held from 24–26 January, will feature inspiring speakers, entertaining events and a wealth of useful knowledge. This year, TalTech will focus on artificial intelligence and healthcare solutions at the biggest business festival in the Baltics.

The dedicated new Startup Centre at Tallinn University of Technology is setting up a demo box where you can see TalTech's latest and coolest technological achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics. Temi, the communication robot, will be there, as will a system for monitoring body movement.
TalTech organizes a side event and seminar on sTARTUp day:
-
Nordic DeepEST Forum in Partnership with EIT Digital.
The forum brings together deep-tech entrepreneurs, investors and IO commercialisation specialists. It is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and network with key figures in the field.
Tallinn University of Technology is also a co-organizer of the Estonian Research Council's event – Science meets business: a day of cooperation in health technology, where researchers meet with health technology companies to exchange ideas and collaborate in the future if appropriate. Researchers can present their research topic, entrepreneurs can talk about the challenges that need to be solved. The event takes place in a matchmaking format.
At the TOP 40 pitching competition of STARTUp Day, there are as many as ten start-ups with a TalTech background. These include Augmental Technologies, KIUD, RawEdge, eID Easy, Esgrid, Iffent, KoThinker, Nora AI, PowerUp, and Wayren.
More information can be found in the blog post or heard on the latest podcast, where Elli Valla, a doctoral candidate and junior researcher at Tallinn University of Technology Institute of Computer Science, delves deeper into the topics.
