Intensive Study Programme
Intensive Study Programme. November 14-18, 2022, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia
Intensive Study Program of the project SHIPMARTECH for testing and piloting of upgraded courses and their components with a group of 24 international students and 6 professors/lecturers.
The ISP consisted of four one-day mini-courses:
- Experimental Hydrodynamics (Prof. Ermina Begovic UNINA and Mikloš Lakatoš, MSc TalTech)
- Optimization of structures: Application of PSO for optimization of stiffened panel (Assistant Prof. Mihkel KõrgesaarTaltech)
- Materials and structures: Basic concepts of structural analysis related to Dynamics (Prof. Smiljko Rudan UNIZAG)
- Ship automation (Prof. Flavio Balsamo UNINA and Prof. Nikitas Nikitakos UAegean)
On day 5 was held a workshop with the representatives of marine industry for dissemination of the project and its results and discussion on educational needs in green and sustainable marine technology with the industrial sector.
