Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) continues to make advances to accommodate students with special needs to curricular and co-curricular activities. We have realized some of our services may be limited but we will find the best possible solution for you.
We have several facilities and technical aid for wheelchair users and others students with moving impairment (ramps, automatic doors, sport equipment in the Sport Centre etc). For visually impaired students, the Library offers equipment.
Information you find below shows what we have done so far:
The staff and administration at TalTech would like to ensure that we are ready and sufficiently informed about your exchange semester and that we are able to meet your needs to enable you as an exchange student to fulfill your academic obligations.
For service eligibility, please inform us as soon as possible. Specific accommodations or services are determined on an individual basis and are modified to meet the unique needs of the student and their academic experience. Accommodation policies and procedures are highly individualized and centered on self-advocacy, realistic self-appraisal, and student growth.
In order for you to have the best learning experience, it is essential that both the student and the university determine the necessary services, equipment, specialists, and any other aids that you require. Please assess all possible costs as adequately and accurately as possible.
Please also note that some support services and equipment are limited in Estonia, hence it may cost a lot. You should inquire additional grants from your university if needed.
If you have any questions, please contact incoming@taltech.ee!
