Important Dates Connected with the Thesis in the spring semester 2024

The grades of the subjects must be entered in ÕIS no later than 3 working days before the defense of the thesis

05.02.2024 - SUBMISSION OF PRELIMINARY THESIS TITLE AND SUPERVISOR IN ÕIS
deadline for submission of the spring semester’s individual study plan and thesis title and supervisor

06.05.2024 LAST DATE TO SUBMIT THESIS DEFENCE APPLICATION IN ÕIS
 - Fill the application for thesis in ÕIS if you are sure you will and will be ready to defend the work and the curriculum has been completed.
- Make sure that the title of the thesis is the same as in the thesis document and correct in both Estonian and English.
Note! The title of the thesis in ÕIS is reflected in the final documents

06.05.2024 REQUEST FOR CONFIDENTIALITY 
Specific requirements of the Department for the Thesis requesting confidentiality. Send a signed application 
- for bachelor's theses to the e-mail address sirje.roosme@taltech.ee 
- for master's theses to the e-mail address merilii.latting@taltech.ee

20.05.2024 LAST DATE FOR DEFENCE APPLICATION CONFIRMATION BY SUPERVISOR

20.05.2024 at 17.00  LAST DATE FOR SUBMITTING DIGITAL MASTER THESIS
All the files must be submitted as one, digitally signed by author and supervisor in an envelope (*asice format)  innomet.ttu.ee/upload
The envelope must contain: 
1.    Thesis (PDF)
2.    Technical drawings (PDF)
3.    Metadata form, digitally in PDF format.  
4.    Master Thesis poster in  A2 format
5.    A summary of a confidential Thesis that will be published

24.05.2024 at 17.00 LAST DATE FOR SUBMITTING SUPERVISOR’S OPINION AND REVIEW FOR MASTER THESIS
- to merilii.latting@taltech.ee

27-31.05.2024  MASTER’s THESIS DEFENSES
The defense order shall be published on the website no later than the day before the defense

27.05.2024 at 17.00 LAST DATE FOR SUBMITTING DIGITAL BACHELOR THESIS

Defense of Integrated engineering MVEB14 will take place on 06.06.2024 at 09.00 MS Teams

Defense of Industrial Engineering and Management MARM06 will take place on 29.05.2024, at 09.00 room U05-216;

Defense of Design and Technology Futures will take place on 28.05.2024, at 09.00 in EKA room A101
 

The defense order shall be published on the website no later than the day before the defense
