Velizar Yosifov

Velizar Yosifov (School of Engineering)

Velizar Yosifov first came to TalTech as an Erasmus student and took courses from the Integrated Engineering BSc programme. Later, he got an internship at Ericsson and afterwards continued working there full time. This did not stop him from pursuing an academic career while working and he applied to the Industrial Engineering and Management MSc programme, which proved to be suitable for professional development and fits well with a study–work life to this day.

Velizar will speak about the study–work balance and take a deep dive into the master’s programme itself, which is, according to him, very suitable for engineering jobs from all perspectives, as it covers both high-level decision-making and mid-level optimization roles.
