Our dormitories have four different types of rooms/apartments. We have illustrated below the floor plans of each of these rooms. Please take notice that the pictures are for illustration purposes only and the placement of furniture can vary from room to room.
Shared twin room
Shared twin rooms are the most affordable option in Student Campus. There are two twin rooms in shared apartments. You will share your room with one other tenant and the adjoining room also houses 1 or 2 people. The average size of a shared room is between 15-17 square meters.
The kitchen, toilet, and bathroom are shared by 2-4 people. Kitchens are equipped with basic household appliances.
A shared room is well suited for you if you want to save on living costs or get to know new people as communal living in shared apartments creates opportunities to meet new people. In addition, if you wish to live together with a friend, a shared twin room is a good affordable option for this.
Single room
When renting this room type, you will live in a private room but share the apartment with one other tenant. Each apartment has two rooms. The average size of a single room is between 15-17 square meters.
The kitchen, toilet, and bathroom are shared by 2 people. Kitchens are equipped with basic household appliances.
A single room is well suited for you if you want to meet new people but still have a place that is just for you. It offers more privacy and space but keeps you social with a flatmate.
Private flat (1 bed)
Private flat is a studio type flat where you live privately and have your own kitchen, toilet, and shower-room. Private flats are always rented to one person. The average size of a private flat is around 16-17 square meters.
The demand for private flats is very high and the waiting time for this room type is usually up to one year.
If you value privacy above all and you have time to wait for a suitable accommodation, private flat might be your answer. Just remember that if you cannot share it with anyone, including a partner or a friend.
Private flat (2 beds)
Private flat is a studio type flat where you live privately and have your own kitchen, toilet, and shower-room. Private flats with two beds can be shared by 2 people. The average size of a private flat with 2 beds is around 22 square meters.
The demand for private flats is very high and the waiting time for this room type is usually up to one year.
If you want to live together with a partner or a friend but still have full privacy, your best option would be a private flat with 2 beds. Please note that these rooms are located only in Akadeemia 7/1 and Akadeemia 7/2 dormitories.
