Kick-Off Event
Kick-Off Event is a strictly recommended event for freshmen that they should definitely not miss. An exciting and adventurous event allows students to get to know other new freshmen and see more closely what the university's student organizations are doing. The Kick-Off Event will take place on August 26 at 13:45.
Campus
With its scenic location in Mustamäe, TalTech is the only campus-type university in the Baltic countries and one of the most compact university campuses in Europe.
Library
The library is spread across five floors and offers modern learning facilities and enables access to 300,000 items. The library is known as the campus pearl owing to its unique exterior design and exceptional lighting solutions.
Student housing
Student Campus has about 2,200 accommodation places. Most of our dormitories are located near university buildings, just a 5-to-7-minute walk away.
Student Portal
Student Portal joins together university-wide information regarding studies and other important parts of student life and links various essential systems and platforms. Data is personalised and divided into relevant sections in addition to main menu, student data, quick links and chat.
The portal is available in desktop and app view using Uni-ID.
Uni-ID and university's information systems
By using one secure system, Uni-ID simplifies access to central ICT resources, including university's information systems - Study Information System (ÕIS), Moodle, Student Portal, etc. Uni-ID account is created for new students after matriculation - a notification is sent to the e-mail address provided upon admission.
Student Counselling Office
If you have a question, but you’re not sure who has the answer, Student Counselling Office is happy to help you!
Besides student to student counselling, math and physics support and career seminars, Student Counselling Office can connect you with a specialist for academic counselling, career counselling, psychological counselling or counselling for students with special needs. Counselling services are free of charge.

Student card
Student card is a document that provides a proof of your student status.
In certain cases you can use it as a international debit card, public transportation card and access card to study rooms.

Campus dining
TalTech campus offers several dining locations, of which many publish their daily menus on Student Portal as well. Main building now hosts a well-equipped student kitchen.
