American Days in TalTech Mektory
American Space and Mektory joint educational program for schools, the aim of which is to present the opportunities of technology and engineering and U.S. scientific achievements, innovation and culture to Estonian school students. The program was started on April 27, 2016.
Program
- Arduino (robotics workshop where students will be taught to build robots and program them to do different things), Raspberry Pi, virtual reality, animation or 3-D printing workshops.
- Short lectures about US education, culture, policy, innovation and research achievements.
- A tour of Mektory which takes you across laboratories and hi-tech showrooms.
Program is free of charge. Free transport will be organized by Tallinn University of Technology. The program will be in Estonian and English.
