A lot of people travel to America, but mostly to big cities, like New York and Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco, Las Vegas and Washington, DC.
But there's much more in America!
Priit Pullerits is editor at Postimees and lecturer of journalism at Tartu University. He fell in love with America while studying at the School of Journalism at Columbia University, New York, in 1990, and while working as a reporter at Newsweek Magazine in Washington, DC, in 1995. He has later traveled extensively in America with his family and alone, by car, on foot and by bike, mostly in the regions on East Coast and West Coast, altogether more than dozen times. His favorite region of America is Southwest, especially the states of Utah and Arizona, which have fascinated him with their exceptional beauty, remoteness, and solitude. He has accumulated a lot of experience how to make one's personal travels in America exciting and safe at the same time.
