American English Club

The English Club is an easy and amazing way to socialize with others in English. In the English Club you will you get a chance to practice many different English language skills in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere. In addition, you will learn more about American culture and traditions.
Eligibility: The Club is open to all interested people from high school and university students to retired adults. We expect that you have at least intermediate level of English. The Club is free to all members!
Timetable: Club events take place twice a month on Mondays at 6-8 pm (in TalTech Mektory, Raja 15, room 108, check the map). The summer vacation will be from mid-June through August. Check the dates of the 2022 spring semester.
The program of the club will be put together in the beginning of every semester based on the interest of Club members. Every meeting has a theme (topic), participants get the opportunity to practice speaking, some homework and preparation for every meeting is expected.
Benefits? You will learn about American culture and traditions, practice English with native speaker instructor, you will have free access to special events of American Space (celebrating of American holidays, meetings with special guests).
