Time and Venue

The Conference opening plenary session will be taken place at Tallinn University of Technology Mectory house located about 8 km to the south from the Centre, and afterwords the Conference site will be Hestia Laulasmaa SPA, located about 30 km from the Centre

Conference fees

  • The Conference regular fee includes: the conference proceedings (USB stick), welcome reception, conference dinner, accommodation (two nights), two lunches, refreshments at breaks and transfer from university to the conference site and back (if needed).
  • Accompanying person/Co-author/Guest - fee includes: welcome reception, conference dinner, accommodation (two nights), two lunches, refreshments at breaks and transfer from university to the conference site and back (if needed).

  • March 20, 2018 - Call for Papers will be launched.
  • May 27, 2018 June 10, 2018 - Deadline for submission of regular papers.
  • Updating submissions is possible till June 18
  • July 1, 2018 July 15, 2018  July 30,2018- Notification of acceptance of papers.
  • July 29, 2018 August 12, 2018  August 20, 2018 - Deadline to submit the final version of the paper.
  • August 5, 2018 August 19, 2018  August 20, 2018- Deadline for payment of regular conference fee
  • October 8-10, 2018 - Conference dates.

About BEC2018

BEC2018, the 16th Biennial Conference on Electronics and Embedded Systems will be held in Tallinn, Estonia on October 8-10, 2018. Tallinn University of Technology has been hosted previous Baltic Electronics Conferences in 1987, 1989, 1991, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016. The aim of the Conference is to promote research and development in the field of electronics and embedded systems, particularly in the Baltic Sea region.
