Welcome to Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability 2014 Conference web-site!

2014 Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability Conference (PQ2014) is intended to bring together specialists in the field of electric power supply around the world. PQ2014 will offer an international forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information. Our goal is to provide best atmosphere for sharing the latest developments and experience in the field of electric power quality and power supply reliability. The official working language of the Conference is English, while other languages are also welcome for private discussions and during special cultural events at the Conference.

The PQ2014 Conference will take place from June 11th to 13th, 2014, in Rakvere, Estonia.

In additon to the existing topics and keywords, PQ2014 will have a Special Sessions on Electrical Machines Design and Electrical Machine Diagnostics and Grid Converters Supporting Renewable Generation. More information about this session can be found under "Topics".

PQ Conference is valued for providing an interactive and creative atmosphere for discussing the most up-to-date topics from both scientific and practical field.

Conference is organized by Tallinn University of Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering

Double room for single occupancy (breakfast and spa included): 74 euros per night
Double room for double occupancy (breakfast and spa included): 82 euros per night

Conference Rates

Conference regular fee is 350 EUR per person (includes VAT 20%)

Conference fee includes the following:

• transportation from Tallinn to Rakvere on June 11th

• catering during the PQ2014 Conference (dinner on June 11th

• and June 12th; lunch on June 12th and June 13th; coffee breaks)

• cultural programme

• one USB copy of the PQ2014 Conference Proceedings

• transportation from Rakvere to Tallinn on June 13th

• and publication up to two of your papers in Conference Proceedings

It does not include accommodation in Rakvere. However we have speical agreement with Confernce Venue Rakvere Aqva Hotel & SPA. Paper copy of the PQ2014 Conference Proceedings could be provided on advanced request for extra charge of 50 Euro that will be added to your invoice. Please let us know in advance if you need a paper copy of PQ2014 Conference Proceedings.

Accompanying person's fee is 150 Euro and it does not include publication in Conference Proceedings and valid only for one person accompanying participant with regular fee.

Participation without paper presenting is also availble, and there are two options:
Simple Participation - 150 Euro and does not include conference materials, lunches and dinners
Advanced Participation - 350 Euro that includes conference materials on USB, cultural programme and full catering.
 

Paying the Conference Fee

There are 2 options to pay the PQ2014 Conference fee.

First one is to notify us that you would like to pay by bank transfer. In this case we will send you the invoice for the participation fee, according to which you should make the bank transfer. Later when the payment has arrived, we can provide you an official receipt of the payment.

Second option is to pay the PQ2014 fee on the Conference site in cash. We can give you also an official receipt about the received payment in this case.

We are very sorry, but we cannot accept card payments on-site or on-line at the moment.

Brief history of PQ Conference

The Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability Conference has been held since 1996. Previous PQ Conferences have been held in various locations around Estonia

• 2004 - Pedase
• 2006 - Viimsi
• 2008 - Pärnu
• 2010 - Kuressaare
• 2012 - Tartu

Every PQ conference has had around 60 participants thus providing an interactive and creative atmosphere for discussing the most up-to-date topics from both scientific and industrial fields.

Since 2008, the PQ conference has had IEEE Power and Energy Society technical co-sponsorship.
