About PQ2019 and SEEM2019

Welcome to the PQ2019 and SEEM2019

Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability Conference (PQ2019) and Symposium of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics (SEEM2019) is intended to bring together specialists in the field of electric power supply around the world.

The PQ2019 and SEEM2019 will offer not only an international forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information, but also a cultural programme revealing the beauty of Medieval Tallinn. However, our main goal is still the same: provide the best atmosphere for sharing the latest developments and experience in the field of electric power quality and power supply reliability.

The official working language of the Conference is English, while other languages are warmly welcome for private discussions.

Papers accepted and presented during the PQ2019 and SEEM2019 will be indexed in Scopus and included in the IEEE Xplore database.

The Event will take place from June 12 to 14, 2019 in Kärdla, Hiiumaa Island of Estonia. June 15 is reserved for visit of Tallinn Technical University (TalTech) and lab facilities of the Department of Electrial Engineering and Mechatronics.

PQ2019 and SEEM2019 will have Sessions on Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability, Electrical Machines, Grid Converters, Distributed Generation & Demand Side Management, Intelligent Control and Applications, Power System Economics and Electricity Market. More information about conference scope can be found in "Topics & Programme".

The PQ2019 and SEEM2019 is valued for providing an interactive and creative atmosphere for discussing the most up-to-date topics from both scientific and practical field.

Previous PQ

The Electric Power Quality and Supply Reliability Conference has been held first in 1996.

Previous PQ Conferences have been held in various locations around Estonia:  Lohusalu, Sagadi, Haapsalu, Pedase, Viimsi, Pärnu, Kuressaare, Tartu, Rakvere, Tallinn . The 11th PQ conference PQ2019 will be held in Kärla town on the Hiimuaa the second largest island of Estonia.

Every PQ conference has had around 70 participants thus providing an interactive and creative atmosphere for discussing the most up-to-date topics from both scientific and industrial fields.

Since 2008, the PQ conference has had IEEE Power and Energy Society technical co-sponsorship.

Last conference (PQ2016) of the series was held in August 2016  with about 100 participants and with more than 60 papers presented from authors of 19 countries.
