Winter School "Smart Systems of Tomorrow"

Thomas Johann Seebeck Department of Electronics, Department of Computer Systems, and Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics organised the Tallinn Winter School Smart Systems of Tomorrow on 12-23/02/2018 in Jäneda and TTÜ Mektory.

The goal of the Winter School was deepening the integration between ICT, cognitive electronics and mechatronics and raising the interdisciplinarity of respective fields into new level through practical activity.

70 students participated. The projects developed and presented by the students included:

  • Augmented reality and remote monitoring
  • Control robot manipulator with hand gesture
  • Smart chair
  • Parallel robot
  • User hand tracking control of digital twins in virtual reality
  • Muscle car race
