Laboratory of Energy Technology
The Laboratory of Energy Technology at Department of Energy Technology, Tallinn University of Technology, is an applied research center developed to carry out different thermochemical studies.
Research Groups
The department has three research groups: Research Group of Sustainable Energy and Fuels - Prof. Alar Konist, Research Group of Smart District Heating Systems and Integrated Assessment Analysis of Greenhouse Gases Emissions - Anna Volkova, Chemical Engineering Research and Development Center - Oliver Järvik.
For Companies
The Institute of Energy Technology is accredited as a testing laboratory in the field of fuels and air analysis and thermal engineering tests.

The Riigikogu discussed energy security as a matter of significant national importance
On June 1, 2021 the Riigikogu deliberated the matter of significant national importance “The challenges of energy security and security of supply in Estonia”, initiated by the Faction Isamaa.
