About the school

TalTech School of Information Technologies prepares specialists with bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in one of the fastest developing fields of science and technology, which is information and communication technology. Research and development activities at a good international level and cooperation with companies create the basis for high-quality research-based learning activities.

Admissions

TalTech School of IT offers four Master's programs in English. Specialize in Digital Health, E-Governance, Cyber Security, or Software Engineering to gain the skills for a successful tech career.

Doctoral studies

The doctoral degree of the School of IT helps to understand the possible advantages and risks of IT and to increase the level of scientific knowledge in the field. In doctoral studies, you will be part of world-class research groups and enjoy an internationally competitive environment.

Research Groups

As of 2023, the School of IT will have a total of 26 research groups working in four departments and the IT College, which are mainly engaged in the creation of smart and energy-efficient environments, reliable IT solutions, and forward-looking government solutions.
